Roberta & Sean, Kinnitty Castle.

The stunning Kinnitty Castle at the foothills of Slieve Bloom mountains was the fairy tale venue for my latest wedding. A meeting in Alberta, Canada brought these love birds together some years ago. Friends first, they dated for a short few months before studies called and Cork native Sean had to move back to his Irish homeland. Some time apart made them realise that they couldn't allow distance to get in the way of true love so in 2015, after a visit to Ireland, Roberta traded in Canada for Cork and the rest is history!

Meeting Roberta & Sean

I first met Roberta and Sean in Tullamore in January. We hit it off and they hired me the very next day.  I realised for the first time that it was my first ever Monday wedding!

A Monday Wedding

The sun was shining as I drove the tree lined avenue to Kinnitty Castle. I could hear a mixture of Canadian and Cork lilts as soon as I opened the car door. Sean was the first familiar face I encountered as I walked into the castle and within minutes I was in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Roberta and the girls getting ready! What an emotionally charged day it was and a very beautiful day too in so many ways.  The weather was absolutely fabulous, the music all day was perfect. I had a really lovely day capturing every moment and I enjoyed meeting all the Canadians and Corkonians!

Thank You’s

Thanks to all at Kinnitty Castle Hotel for all your assistance. Thank you Roberta and Sean for choosing me as your wedding photographer and for allowing me to share your story. Massive congratulations to you both and I wish you a fun filled life together <3 I had a fab day. I think everyone should get married on a Monday and celebrate for the rest of the week 😉
